Department of "Double Standards Much???"

Palin has been running for just over a month.
Obama has been running for more than 18 months.
A search on Yahoo News reveals:

Palin and experience: 13,538 results
Obama and experience: 15,074 results

BTW -- looks as if NC has either tightened up.

Probably a little late to try getting story straight.

Obama's #1 slotee for the Supreme Court

While at the Justice Department, former Clinton Administration official Deval Patrick, who is now governor of Massachusetts, used the pressure of federal lawsuits to force lenders to make risky loans, threatening them with redlining charges.… Then he left the Justice Department to make more money by receiving money from lenders eager to curry favor with him and thus avoid the wrath of his friends still at the Justice Department. Lenders hired him for a small fortune to “counsel” them about “predatory lending.” “Once outside government, Patrick made a bundle providing ‘cover’ for one lender as it navigated the landscape of sub-prime lending in minority communities.”

Sing for Dear Leader !!

Republicans really are too politically naive to be in charge

This is just a sample of the reaction (from conservative/Republican sites) to Republicans blaming Pelosi's speech for their No votes:

"immediate response was to say that many of their Members turned against the bill at the last minute because Ms. Pelosi gave her nasty speech. So they are saying that Republicans chose to oppose something they think is in the national interest merely because of a partisan slight. Thank heaven these guys weren't at Valley Forge."

And this nugget:
A bunch of other Republicans who would have voted for the Paulson Plan had Nancy Pelosi not said some stuff that hurt their feelings just prior to the roll call. They had thought passing the Paulson Plan was an urgent national priority. Then, the Speaker said some stuff that made personal pique take priority. Outdumbing the Pence Republicans was a tall task – this coterie of GOP representatives was up to the task.

Even more:
After the legislation was defeated and only one-third of House Republicans backed the plan, John Boehner and Roy Blunt took to the microphones and indicated that Pelosi’s speech had been so alienating and offensive that a significant number of House Republicans changed their mind and voted against the bill.

Can they be serious? Do they realize how foolish and irresponsible they sound? On one of the most important votes they will ever cast, insisting “the speech made me do it” is lame and adolescent. The vote, after all, was on the legislation, not the speech. And to say that a dozen members of your caucus voted not out of principle but out of pique is a terrible indictment of them. I hope we learn the names of these delicate figures whose feelings were so bruised and abused.

Who caused “the biggest financial crisis since the Great Depression?

En-fucking Joy.

"These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis," said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. "The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing."

As I said -- Republicans are racists!!!

I may Change My Mind on This One

I'm feeling my vote moving towards McCain. The only barrier is Palin. If McCain drops Sarah Palin, Obama just lost my vote. Wait a minute, I can't belive I'm going to say this in the era of modern politics. McCain just won my vote.

As I have beeched to Sweet Dee every day on the way home...

The Weekly Standard

Republicans are gonna get the blame for this REGARDLESS, so they might as well give a nice FUCK YOU to everyone else.
