Homelessness Rediscovery Watch

"If George W. Bush becomes president, the armies of the homeless, hundreds of thousands strong, will once again be used to illustrate the opposition's arguments about welfare, the economy, and taxation."--Mark Helprin, Oct. 31, 2000

"In Hard Times, Tent Cities Rise Across the Country"--headline, Associated Press, Sept. 18, 2008

"electoral suicide by the Democrats."

Another instance of me babbling about things I think are my own thoughts.

Commentary » Blog Archive » Krauthammer on Bush

the question remains as to whether the now-likely outcome — transforming a virulently aggressive enemy state in the heart of the Middle East into a strategic ally in the war on terror — was worth it. I suspect the ultimate answer will be far more favorable than it is today.

“I have little doubt that Bush will be the subject of a similar reconsideration,” Krauthammer concludes.

I agree.

Grrrr!!! F You, John McCain and your populist bullshitery

Jonathan Martin's Blog: McCain talks even tougher on financial crisis, says he would have sacked Bush's SEC chief - Politico.com

John McCain will ratchet up his increasingly populist language today, using a campaign event in Iowa to say he would fire Christopher Cox, the former Republican congressman and Bush-appointed head of the Securities and Exchange Commission. McCain, grasping for the right tone to express outrage at the week's financial meltdown, is to use his harshest rhetoric yet in an effort to distance himself from the unpopular Republican administration that has presided over the crisis.

EXCELLENT !!!
PUSHBACK on McCain's moronic attack on Chris Cox.

I'm not saying they're dead...

BUT... normally, dont we expect to see a video diary tape from Osama or his #2 (al Zawahari I believe) every year around 9/11???
I also think they have (had) and American on their payroll, Adam Gahdan (sp?) who I THINK we smoked in Pakistan a couple weeks ago. He also hasn't been heard from in quite some time.

I got nothin', but I get the feeling they're all three pushin' daisies.

I can only HOPE that this is how Dems react :-)

Ohio Slipping Away from Obama?

Possible stra-tergy to counter the Palin momentum:

Sarah Palin? Can't keep her solemn oath of devotion to her husband and had sex with his employee.

Sarah Palin? Accidentally got pregnant at age 43 and the tax payers of Alaska have to pay for the care of her disabled child.

Sarah Palin? Unable to teach her 16 year old daughter right from wrong and now another teenager is pregnant.

Sarah Palin? Can you trust Sarah Palin and her values with America's future?

John McCain? Divorced from his first wife one month and marries a billionaire influence peddler and convicted felon.

John McCain, a record of rash and impulsive decisions.
